Feel your tensions fade away |

Allow your body to sink into the chair |

Feeling the weight of your body on the chair |
|
Sense the air as it touches your skin |
|
Feel your feet resting on the floor, |
|
and, listen to the sounds around you |
|
Listen as far away as you can hear |
|
Listening and staying still, |
|
Become aware of your breathing, |
|
of the in and out of your breath. |
|
Simply watch as your lungs work |
|
Become aware of this present moment |
|
Know that your everyday life will be waiting for you when you return, |
|
But, for now, simply exist in this present
moment. |

Breathing in
and breathing out,
your weight on the chair, |
|
the air touching your skin,
the sounds of life all around you. |
